can we try to form a consensus on a draft day? the opener is sunday april 1st, i would like to do it saturday the 30th of march or the weekend before that,

I'd have to autodraft if it was the weekend before the 30th, so I'd prefer the 30th.

Sunday evenings usually seem to work best for these things.

Yahoo sign-ups begin February 15. I suggest whoever the commissioner is this year signs the league up as early as possible on that day so we can get a good draft slot. Even if all the rules, etc., aren't worked out by then, you can always edit them after the league is created.

i'll sign us up as soon as i can and grab saturday the 30th in the evening if thats what we want? i know last year i signed up on the second day and the draft days we wanted werent open but later opened up (leading me to believe that they reserve these slots initially for their "pay" leagues until they see they wont need that many)

i agree with abogie. Sunday nite seems ideal... the night before the season starts, with the kids in bed. i vote for 9pm on sunday.

the season starts on Sunday April 1st, I want to draft before that (preferrably the night before) but i'm happy with the weekend before (be it saturday or sunday) as well.

we can still changwe it but those dates fly fast. there are NO drafts whatsoever (it wasnt even a choice) on sunday april 1st. if anyone joins other leagues and sees that later times on sunday the 25th of march have opened up please post here IMMEDIATELY when that happens.

Looks like they've added some more times. You might be able to find a late 3/25 now.

the only times available seem to be 9, 10, 11 am on that sunday. i'll keep checking back, if those times opened up others may as well.

Cool, I have a better chance of not needing to autodraft on Sunday evening.

in a few more days we'll open it up to non-board members that are friends/family....but we'll limit it to each person can only invite 1 other guy/girl at first so that the league doesn't fill up with 5 of my friends in 5 minutes.

oh, and we should require said people to at least come say hello on the board, maybe they'll like it here!
