DocTee Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Who's got the Tug McGraw Goofy Memorial Slot? 'twas The Prophet, no?
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 I let the Tug chair grow vacant, didn't I.It was Wagner, but he seemed to business-like.Then it as Sanchez, a fine choice until he smashed himself up real good.I'm not sure if anybody finished 2006 with the role. I opened 2007 with Schoeneweis in the job, then stripped him (see July 5 post on page 12) based on performance alone. I gave the role to Smith and it's clearly been a dead albatross to the guy. Do I give it back to Schoeneweis? Sele? Wagner? I don't know.Does HoJo become the Bill Robinson Memorial BadAss Coach?
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 I think the choice is clearly Feliciano. I recall several interviews (one from Kids Clubhouse on SNY, one from Marty Noble's notes column (?)) where he's mentioned as the biggest cut-up on the team after Castro. IIRC, he and Bradford had a practical-joke thing going last year in the 'pen as well.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Yeah, he's a lefty, and, before Willie cracked the facial hair whip, he had a goatee of King Tut length.Feliciano gets it on next update.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I believe Feliciano was also the one who emptied his bottle of beer onto Julie Donaldson's chest with gusto during the Division Champs celebration last year.A fine choice.
