Nice awkard moment when Keith notes that the '86 reunion at Shea is coming up in about a month.

K: "Everybody's going to be there, except those coaching in the major leagues right now...Roger McDowell, he can't make it, he's the pitching coach for Atlanta....and Lee Mazilli, with the Yankees.

K and G: [long awkward pause, as there's clearly another reason why someone else won't be there]

The Reds keep the team banners in the same order as the standings. Nice.

I never knew that either, I thought Wrigley was the only place.

I have to admit I mumbled under my breath when Keith said, "why wouldn't
you go and revel in the glory?" .... "kinda hard when you're in the joint"

It was a probation violation, so it was a 1 year sentence, dating from April. I think he can get out after 7 months, so November at the earliest.

Huh.

Cotter was telling a story as LoDuca doubled down the line, so he just called the play. Not bad but he always sounds like he's yelling at me.

I'm sure he's sorry that the substance abuse problem that has ruined his life is bothering you.

Well, I don't give a rat's ass what either of you think. Let his sorry ass rot in jail - he's certainly not a victim here.

And another, but Clayton is thrown out trying to advance.
3-2 Mets.

Pelfrey up to 96 pitches .

Top 7, Valentin bunting for a hit with a runner on first....pops it up, but instead of waiting for it to come down, Larue dives. After he missed he bats the ball sideways with his glove.

Am I the only one confused that LoDuca is being pitched around to get to Beltran with two outs?

I guess because Beltran is .218 as a righty.
