Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Trax gives up another g0fer to Molina.Ugh---4-3.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 MFY note: That game, one of two because of yesterdays rain out, is in a rain delay. Willis VS Mussina when it gets underway. And as I type Nady beats out an infield single, and Castro follows with a double, and the Mets knock Towers outta the game.Mets will have 2nd and 3rd, no outs, Hotrod Reyes up when play resumes.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 REYES with an RBI infield single and---is Reyes now batting .300?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 According to Yahoo Stat Tracker Reyes is now batting .300. WOWWWWWWWWWWWW.Reyes steals second.Afew pitches later Castro chugs home on a wild pitch.Reyes to third.Reyes gets it up to .300---how bout that?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Reyes better get the starting AllStar game gig.Is that an IP sensative thing or can I vote 10 more times?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Trachsel has been serving some pretty fat pitches up there. He must be pitching too fast today.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Zvon wrote:Pretty quick game so far, considering Trachsel is pitching. He actually has slown down dramatically since i mentioned this earlier.maybe its all the opposing batters he is allowing to reach.Trax walks Wells to load the bases. Only 1 out.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 He gets out of it with a lead.Mets up 6-4.The way they were slappin him around I wouldnt even run him out there in the 6th.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Wow-Franco motors out a double on a rug burn single up the middle.
dinosaur jesus Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Ty Taubenheim's last name means "home of doves," which is very poetic for a relief pitcher. How come this site is on Rocky Mountain Time?

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 They finally get Reyes out on a wicked liner to right..299
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 This is the 1st time in a looooong time that I can remember Bradford coming into a situation where he wasnt bailing out Feliciano.Catalanotto smacks a two out double and aside from that Chad does a fine job in relief. This time Feliciano will follow him.Man, Bradford has been so good out of the pen.Its like they are takin turns out there steppin up (remember Sanchez early on)
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 I may have to rethink that biggest surprise thread post cuz Valentin is doing such a fantastic job as our second baseman. Some big kabooms, good field for the most part.Nice single here in the 8th.Could you imagine if we were still carryin Kaz in that slot?It was becoming such a downer when Kaz stepped in.You certainly dont feel that way when Valentin comes to the plate. Its 7-4 Mets-They sat Feliciano, and it looks like its gonna be Heilman for the 8th.
Guest KC Guests Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 I keep forgetting to go back to that thread. It was "most pleasant" not "biggest".Valentin has been biggest ... Beltran has been most pleasant (to me).

Nice enough inning.Does he stay the 9th? They were showing Wags stretching out there.
Guest KC Guests Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Jose get his 4th hit AGAIN ... he's freakin' unconsc, er unconci, er unbelievably hot.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Reyes with a 9th inning single, 32 for the last 57 (.561).Now batting .302 ! (he was hitting .246 before this hotstreak!)But they nab him tryin to steal second
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Okay--a tip of the hat and a wag of the finger in Billys general direction..Lets wrap this up.NO IMAGE AVAILABLE>
