They eventually finished over, but the entire year it was either going up to .500 or going back down to the .500 mark. A perfect example of sheer mediocrity.This year the Mets are 40 wins away from clinching an over .500 record, rendering this thread useless, on 6/15/06 The closest the Mets have been to going under is 1-1 after the first two games of the year, then ripping 7 straight, and they haven't seen .500 since
