Tough quiz for real-gone Met fans.

Below are the ten most-accomplished home-grown Mets (not named Seaver, who I couldn't get a definitive answer on, oddly enough), shown in alphabetical order on the left. On the right are the scouts who signed them (or led the scouting on them and pushed the GM into drafting/signing him). Match the player to the scout.

I fully hope somebody will log on and say, "Are you crazy? Everybody knows the Mets scout who was lukewarm on Seaver was... ." As Dickshot put it, he liked Seaver $8,000 and not $45,000.

As you can see, only one guy has the honor of having landed two Mets all-timers.

I love this forum. Because despite spending hours watching the games, reading about the team, and surfing the net talking about the Mets, there will be a quiz like that where I don't know a single answer making me feel like I'm not one of those people who are way too into baseball.
