TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Valentin pinch hitting instead of pinch outing.First and second, one out for the top of the order in the 7th.

Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Mets take the lead, a 2 run double for Kaz!5-3 and still threatening.
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Mets. I love you. One guy after another picks them up, Yay Kaz! And now walking the bases loaded to pitch to Delgado? A smart move? Perhaps not.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 That's all for Hudson as KazMat sends him up the river
duan Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 it should probably go elsewhere, but if they DON'T start thinking about stretching Heillman out to go as a starter when they might be going to the 8th/9th starting pitcher on our depth chart it's just pig headedness. We might get lucky and Lima etc might throw a decent start or two but I just don't get why we can't bring up the likes of Bell and put Heillman back in the rotation.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 I wish Matsui was looking to pull like that more. I thik he's mentally programmed himself too much to look to be a salp-and-run table setter. He even took the previous pitch at 3-1 in the same spot.Just hit baby.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 C'mon Cliffy, smack this crococile hunter around.
Guest KC Guests Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 My bang-pow finger has been itchin' - but Floyd walks with the bases jammed.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 We owed Moylan a run from last night anyways.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Hey, Betemit. Payback.Big leagues. Hang onto the bat.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Bradford was responsible for several last night but he was as unlucky as he was shakey; got beat by some bleeders and dunks.I like going back to him here and maybe finishing out the game if he gets thru inning 8 unscathed.
