Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Nady's having a rough inning. Trax having a rough afternoon.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 He needs to do some telekinetic shit if he intends to keep hitting .200.In fairness, at the beginning of play, three National League qualifiers had lower batting averages than Anderson Hernandez -- Jim Edmonds, Aramis Ramirez, and Dickshot's favorite hired gun at the keystone (I think), Ray Durham. Durham is the only qualifier (there are 103) with a lower OPS.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Brewers 7-8-9 is 5-6 with 2 runs and 2 RBI.Now, Prince Fielder is one thing. But Chad Moeller is a career .231 hitter, and Tomo Ohka is a career .156 hitter. I'd like to think Steve could get THOSE guys out.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 With him due up 2nd, I think that's the end of Trachsel's afternoon. 96 pitches.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 A good time for Hernandez's first career RBI, not happening. Willie not looking genioid at that moment.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 A funny thing about Darren Oliver. There was a feature on him in the times two days ago. I tried to save it to my hard drive as last night's game ended and just as I did, it morphed into an account of last night's game, not five minutes over.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Oliver still looking solid.3-4-5 due up. RALLY TIME!
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 I saw this program called "On the Wire", an hour-long collection of clips from players and managers who wore microphones during games in the 2005 season. Most were safe, but some were candid. My favorite was Ozzie Guillen rallying the Sox, yelling in the dugout, "We're down by three, so fucking what. Let's go!".So I say, we're down by three, so fucking what. Let's go!

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Wright Sac Fly gets us another. Still need 2 more.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Wright cuts it to two on a sacrifice fly.Z'okay. Plenty of time.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 And Floyd walking brings up Xavier Nady as the tying run.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Cliff brings the tying run to the plate. Seems like the Mets haven't been very patient at the plate today, with the exception of Floyd, whose seeen a lot of pitches today. Nicely done Cliff.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 I never knew Darren Oliver was Bob Oliver's kid.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 A solo homer makes it a three-run game again.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Ohka's gettting tired. We can get him here.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 I'd like to see a Pinch Hitter for Hernandez.
Guest abogdan Guests Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Unclutchness from Franco, Reyes, and Hernandez strands Castro at 2B. You have to pinch hit for Hernandez in that spot.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Stranding a leadoff double is just bad baseball.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Julio's pitching - Willie has officially given up on this game.

Guest abogdan Guests Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Julio bringing nothing to the table yet again. His ERA is up to 13.50.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Julio was one strike away from his first scoreless inning of the year.
