Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Or they'll pinch hit for HeilmanHuh?Valentin the hitter.

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2006 Author Posted April 11, 2006 Me too.Though it wasn't meant to be so definitive, since I placed the conditionality on Bannister's performance.'Course, Zambrano could always suck ass or someone could get hurt.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 ="seawolf17"]You know who doesn't look like Kenny Rogers? Kenny Rogers. When he was on Idol a few weeks back, he looked way different. I know he's older now, but his hair is short and his beard is trimmed to just a van dyke. Weird. That freaked me out too. I had no idea who he was. He also looks younger than he did in the 80's.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Anyone else remember the Quick Pickin' Fun Strummin' Home Guitar Course?

Of course, if Zambrano stuggles, I'll be leading the charge for Mr. Heilman to reenter the rotation. Right now, though, our starting pitching has been good, and Willie seems to have a good grip on who to use when in the pen. Nothing needs fixing at the moment, so far as I can tell.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Howcum Chris Woodward never gets to pinch-hit anymore?
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2006 Author Posted April 11, 2006 ]Willie seems to have a good grip on who to use when in the pen. I'll disagree if Wagner pitches the ninth today.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Wagner? I was thinking Oliver or Bradford.

Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 I suppose since we have:LSRLcoming up in the order, we need someone who can get both righties AND lefties out, which means one of Heilman, Sanchez or Wagner. Why not Sanchez, though? Or double switching Heilman?

Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 LoDuca is 3-for-5 now, with a single up the middle.

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2006 Author Posted April 11, 2006 If he continues to hit .350, I won't have a problem with him batting second.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Or that. But with a four-run lead, I wouldn't stress too much about the handedness of the hitters, especially since it's a mix.

Give Sanchez's arm another day off. Definitely don't pitch Wagner, that's just stoopit. Let's give Oliver the ninth.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2006 Author Posted April 11, 2006 Someone explain to Felix Rodriguez that you don't need to throw over three times when Paul Lo Duca is on first and you're down four in the ninth.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Yep, now we're in Julio country.
Guest cooby Guests Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 I'm not even going to guess what happened to that poor girl's hair
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2006 Author Posted April 11, 2006 Only Willie could put a downer on a 7-1 game.I guess Julio has been promoted to closer.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Wagner in for the save.Wait, it's a 6 run lead....
Diamond Dad Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Guess Wags needs to get some work in, eh?
