Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 So many great players I wish I had the opportunity to see, if only I had been born. Impossible to choose just one. I guess I would go with Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, and Satchel Paige.I'm with mole, I wish I had never seen Vince Coleman as a Met.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 I imagine they would have lost just as many games without Anthony Young.
Guest abogdan Guests Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 I was there for the record-setting (or tying, I can't remember) loss. Traumatic experience. Didn't go back to Shea until Piazza's first home series.

It was painful to watch and I wish I hadn't been there. (I know that wasn't exactly what the question asked but it was the first thing that came to mind).
