I don't know if I've ever done Strat-o-Matic...

but, the other day I was trying to do some research on a baseball board game, Statis Pro Baseball, that I played when I was in college...I played it in the mid 80's and enjoyed it, but I haven't seen it anywhere since...I'm not into the video games...and my kids love baseball, so I thought it would be cool to share with them...has anyone else, played or heard of this game?

Hey! We used to play Statis Pro! Mid-80s? Green board, tiny player cards? Numbered cards that determined actions? I definitely remember it. My best friend at the time was a Yankee fan, and for some reason, I remember Jay Howell being especially dominant out of the bullpen, which means I'm assuming we played the 1984 version of the game.

yep...pitchers got numbered rankings...I think Gooden was a 2-9 ranking...and I got stuck with the Pirates because my housemate owned the game so if he was playing he got the Mets...I remember knocking Gooden out of the game in the second inning by stacking my lineup with every fast guy that the Pirates had...funny thing is, looking at the Pirates '84 team, they didn't have anyone with real impressive steal totals, but they did have several players with decent speed...

This is incredible. A list of every baseball game ever created. I found it searching for Fanfun, a game I played for a while in the 50s, before settling on APBA.
