I dont know how this will work.
Ill let it evolve.

What [u:bab86cd54f]Im[/u:bab86cd54f] gonna try to do is pick a Met player and during the week post my favorite pictures of that player.
Ill try and provide real good quality images for collecting.

Feel free to join me, or post a choice of your own.

The bottomline, this should be a kool Met picture thread.

Ill start off with a player who we sadly had to say goodbye to in 2005, Donn Clendenon.

Yogi had himself a flat stomache.

Props to the Booger for making sure Clendennon touched.

Why isn't this thread about David Wright? I hear that he's the only Met worth a crap.*

* Don't mind me, I'm just being an ass again. I'm just pissed about having to work when it's 60 degrees and sunny outside. Damn food and shelter keeps messing up my fun.

What's the over/under on the next Zvon-lubitul copyright infringement?

Hope he contributes himself.

(unfortunately crediting the photographers would be impossible for most of these pictures. The info wasnt available)

I gotta get that hot pink dress out of mothballs for the occasion.

You're not going to tell me I look like a cheap whore in that, I hope.

Damn, I sure am catching a lot of crap for (as the thread title says) something I didn't say.

Sorry, Zvon, these old Mets pictures are great, but seeing Mrs. Payson just sets me to reminiscing...

Laughter should be everyones #1 priority on the internet.
With porn a close second.

I cant guarantee thats the actual color of her dress.
I colorized that picture from a black & white photo,
and I was the one who decided she'd look pretty in pink.
lol.

The next few are dedicated to the famous shoe polish incident from the ' 69 world series,
in which Clendenon played a part in one of those legendary Met stories of yesteryear.

I dont want to clutter up this thread with my silly baseball cards,
but these few are educational to those who dont know the story.

This week is Mike Piazza, who we will be saying goodbye to as a Met player. At least thats what eveybody keeps sayin.
But he has yet to find a new home.

Im sure to infringe in some way, shape or form with Mikes pictures, but lets just keep that amongst us Met fans.
I hope others will contribute during this week.
I will try to avoid using any DGW pics,as I do believe they are denoted in the file names, but if I should slip, please let me slide, Iubitul.
