Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2006 Author Posted January 17, 2006 I have alot of Bobby Valentine pics, but most seem to be small as opposed to nice big pics. Still, some nice shots though.

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 I found this cool pic, it's from pulizter.org, no idea what the origin of the pic is but these two lads got invited to a Mets game...caption under the pic says..]Alvaro and Shawn ordeal has made them closer than ever. They are invited to attend a N.Y. Mets baseball game, and they sit in the dugout as Mets manager Bobby Valentine makes a call. Alvaro, a huge Mets fan, later says he sat in the dugout and imagined climbing the steps and making his way to the plate to take a pitch.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2006 Author Posted January 17, 2006 these are great. Love the one of him barkin........with the dogs. Here he barks at an ump.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2006 Author Posted January 17, 2006 whoops, metirish has done that, my bad.Okay, he growls at a Cook:

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Great picture with Cook, what was that about?, was Cookie going after Bobby or was V keeping him away from the ump?

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Is anyone left from Bobby's teams? Reyes hadn't been called up yet had he? Had Glavine joined the team yet? I'm pretty sure Glavine wasn't here until Howe. Not sure about Reyes. I'm counting Piazza as gone.Cliffster.Trachsel.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 No one I can think of Elster, remember Glavine was quoted as saying he didn't think he would have signed with the Mets if Bobby was managaer, he later retracted that...same with Floyd, although I don't think he retracted that...
