Guest SI Metman Guests Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 The Astros released their entire schedule and the Rockies released their home sched for next season. That combined with the leaked dates for Boston has me starting this a few weeks earlier this season. The locations for the Subway Series are educated guesses with the dates correct. I will bump and edit this thread as more dates are released by other teams. Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 I'm waiting for the Cardinals' schedule to come out. We're going to have a new stadium to visit next sumer. Thanks SI!
Guest SI Metman Guests Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 bumpReds released their sched today which shows that the Mets will be screwed out of another interleague home series yet again.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Why does it always have to be us? Why can't the Phillies and the Pirates play each other during the Rivalry Series instead?
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 why the fuck do we play the yankees twice a year? that bullshit is getting old...

Guest SI Metman Guests Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 My take on the whole thing is that it's fewer new teams coming to Shea. Oakland and Texas have yet to make trips because the Mets took an extra NL team at home during those years.Besides, 3 less games against someone like Tampa could mean 3 more games against a better team. We'll just have to see how the schedule plays out and where those extra 3 games are going.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 I want more games against teams we can beat.
Guest SI Metman Guests Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/08/12/AR2005081201635.htmlAnother bump after obtaining Opening Day and the first Mets-Nats road series from that article.

The fact that IL games can be (and frequently are) distributed unfairly is true, but whether losing or gaining one will be an advantage is totally random. Of course it would be nice if schedules weren't subjected to randomness but that's the fault of the whole IL concept in the first place.
Guest SI Metman Guests Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 19 games added tonight including SF, LA and Milwaukee
Guest SI Metman Guests Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 It has been learned that the Reds series costs a visit by Scott Kazmir and the D-Rays who will not be on the Mets interleague schedule
Guest SI Metman Guests Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 19 games vs the Phillies edited in.They play 10 times in August.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Dammit! For the second year in a row there won't be a weekend series in Philly
Guest Spacemans Bong Guests Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 ASG's in Pittsburgh, not SF.Also, it'd be dandy if Pedro threw a perfect game against the poo poo Red Sox.
Guest SI Metman Guests Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 7 late May/early June games against Arizona added in.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 FYI, the Marlins are having 2006 Magnetic Schedule Day on Sunday, not a badly timed promotion if you think about it (except that it probably has the Marlins' schedule on it).
Guest SI Metman Guests Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Marlins posted their schedule today, as did the Padres.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 A west coast trip in April? Not good times._____________________________This post had the designation 143) Tracy Stallard
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Actually, as crappy as the weather is in April in the Northeast, a trip to where the weather is nice could help avoid some rainouts.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Get one of the West Coast trips out of the way early. I'm down with that.
Guest SI Metman Guests Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 an article in today's Washington Post gave away the rest of the Mets-Nats games in DC for those who want to plan a roadtrip.Toronto released their sched, and by process of elimination, Baltimore can be added into the other series.
Guest SI Metman Guests Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 9 games against the Bucs added.Only missing: Braves, Cubs, Cards and a Colorado series at Shea.
