metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Graves of course gives up a hit and the score is 9 -1. DP ball ends the game, great night to be a Mets fan, will the Mets ever get a no hit game?,.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 In the post game handshakes, Floyd and Wright kind of jumped sideways into each other, which I guess is what they were doing in the picture in the Caption This thread. Looks like Wright has made a friend, and isn't just a bellboy. Also a hilarious shot of two Padres fans looking at Wright's homer with their mouths wide open and "holy shit" looks.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Nice to get a laugher and rest the pen. I think tomorrow is a BIG GAME.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Wright's homer after the misguided intentional walk to Floyd was a thing of beauty. Nice W.

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Oh man, me too. I was sure his elbow was shattered.
