Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 This is funny (at least I think it's funny). On the way home from the Mets game, D-Dad suggested that we stop by Rutgers on the way home, so that I can figure out my route for traveling to and from campus for orientation next month (that was really sweet of him, btw, since it was a little out of our way, and I know he wanted to get home after the long day out. But he knew that I was nervous about the drive, so we drove the route and now I'll know it better when I have to go up there by myself ). ANYWAY, as we are driving south from Rutgers on Route 27, we pass by the White Castle in New Brunswick! So I LMAO for a couple of minutes, and figured that I needed to post this poll once I got home.I never would have watched this movie but for the original thread on ezBoard - it was silly, but it had some great moments. It's also a great little travelogue through NJ - I knew way too many of the places where they had their misadventures along the way.Not a perfect film, by any means, but it's entertaining and has its share of laughs. I definitely recommend it.And now I know where to find the White Castle burgers.

Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Damn - I can't remember. It was months ago, on a forum that no longer exists, thanks to the cyber tsunami.Whatever was said, it was enough to get me to spring for pay per view to see the film. I'm sure I never would have given this one a shot but for the reviews of my fellow Crane Poolers.BTW, the 90-second scene with Kumar having his med school interview with a character played by Fred Willard is worth the cost of the rental alone.
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Hysterical. Bizarre. Ridiculous.8 sliders.
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 It's like a combination of Office Space, Animal House, and Up In Smoke. Good times, all around.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 If this movie was out when I was in college, I would have seen it seven million times by now. We finally saw it last night; hysterical.
