Farmer Ted Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 Holy sommabitches, so this is where the new cranepool ended up. Where the hell are the cranes? Where the hell's the excitement? These jokers are only 4.5 back. Wake up you fair-weathered bandwaggoners. We're buyers, for crissakes!
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 Hi Farmer, any clues on your previous identity?

Farmer Ted Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2005 Author Posted July 22, 2005 A player to be named later will be added to the family roster circa Sept. 20th. A late season call up if you will. Just in time for the Mets post-season run. Hopefully as productive as one Timo Perez down the stretch (albeit with more hustle around the bases on long flies to left field).
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 I thought maybe you had an earlier call-up and that's why you disappeared.
Farmer Ted Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2005 Author Posted July 22, 2005 PTBN is still warming up in the bullpen. Getting it major league-ready has been an eventful process, encompassing all of my time.
Guest KC Guests Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 Good to see old friends, Bubs ... congrats on the late season addition to your squad.
duan Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 you might like to know that Father Ted was written by Graham Linehan & Arthur Matthews, both of whom worked for us for a few years before moving to London to get into Comedy. I actually met Arthur on Wednesday night after the Shelbourne Glentoran game!
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 Welcome back and congratulations on the future roster expansion.

Now go find JG and gf212121 while you're at it."gf212121 made it here under the name of Swan Swan H, though I haven't seen him posting lately. To the best of my knowledge, JG Part Deux (A Boy Named Seo) has not made an appearnce at our new home yet. Hopefully, he too will surface again soon.
