Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 Ishii 5 - 4 for pitching, 1 for baserunningReyes 3Minky 1Castro 1I still think we should allot 15 points for wins, 5 for losses
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 That's not such a bad idea. But the same thing can be effected by continue to score the games on a ten-point scale and then the compiler multiplying the scores from wins by 1.5 and losses by .5.I think we should continue to score as we have, and consider that we're providing merely factors in an evolving formula.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 Oh, so NOW awarding more points to wins than losses is a good idea?!?!?I suggested that a while back and was branded a heretic and burned at the stake.(I got better)
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 Easy. I think we have enough martyrdom. No, I think that what I said was we stick to a ten point scale by those scorers. Which I'm also saying now.

nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 i havent been inclined to vote basically since we fell way behind and i didnt want to catch up... maybe i'll start again soonas far as wins/losses go keep it on the same scale. at the end of the year peoole looking at the raw numbers can adjust by different percentages to play with the numbers all they want
