Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 We still have nine games from May that have not received many Schaefer makeup votes. They are:May 6: Mets 7, Brewers 4Votes so far: YSG, holychickenMay 7: Mets 7, Brewers 5Votes so far: YSG, holychicken, metirishMay 8: Brewers 5, Mets 4Votes so far: YSG, holychicken, metirishMay 9: Mets 7, Cubs 4Votes so far: YSGMay 10: Cubs 7, Mets 0Votes so far: YSGMay 11: Cubs 4, Mets 3Votes so far: YSGMay 13: Mets 2, Cardinals 0Votes so far: YSGMay 14: Cardinals 7, Mets 6Votes so far: YSGMay 15: Cardinals 4, Mets 2Votes so far: YSGPlease vote on these games! This will allow us to belatedly award a Schaefer Player of the Month for May, and ultimately get caught up to date for the entire season. Also: I'll be away on vacation next week. (From June 18 through 26.) If anybody wants to start the Schaefer threads after each game, please feel free to do so.Finally: It seems that there's a lot less participation in these things since we moved. If we (as a group) are no longer interested in this stuff, let me know and I'll stop!
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 I'll try to get to these soon I promise. When I rush them I always turn in half-assed votes and when you're charged with presenting something as valuable as a sixer of Scheafer, you can't afford to screw up.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 I've been too lazy to revote on the May games, and I've not been too busy to watch games the past few weeks. It's hard to vote when I haven't seen or listened to the game. Please keep it up though.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 Update on the May makeup votes:Voting for the Milwaukee series has now been closed. We had five votes for each game: (Me, metirish, holychicken, seawolf17, and Rockin' Doc. Thanks gang!)Six May games are still open, and will hopefully get a few more votes:May 9: Mets 7, Cubs 4Votes so far: YSG, metirish, seawolf17, Rockin' DocMay 10: Cubs 7, Mets 0Votes so far: YSG, metirish, seawolf17May 11: Cubs 4, Mets 3Votes so far: YSG, metirish, seawolf17May 13: Mets 2, Cardinals 0Votes so far: YSG, metirish, seawolf17May 14: Cardinals 7, Mets 6Votes so far: YSG, metirish, seawolf17May 15: Cardinals 4, Mets 2Votes so far: YSG, metirish, seawolf17I'll post a May update today that will give us the May (and season) totals through the last Brewer game. (May 8)
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 Another reminder. The St.Louis and Chicago series are still somewhat undervoted.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 Okay, we're all caught up. I've closed out the Cardinal and Cub series. (Serieses?)Thanks to Rockin' Doc, holychicken, metirish, and seawolf17 for voting all those old games.
