Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3 Author Posted June 3 Gerber puts it to bed!! Winning a day game followed by an off day followed by a night game ... on the West Coast ... gives you a lot of time to savor this one. See you in San Diego!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3 Posted June 3 So a decisive win each way with the Mariners winning the series by taking the Rock-Paper-Scissors tie-breaker. Losing two of three obviously isn't what you want but ultimately they faced a good team on the road and played them more or less evenly. So now, as Bill Belichick might put it, 'On to San Diego'
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Got my rest, see you at the Paycom center! I totally understand that the CPF is for baseball but the current format of the GCM seems to have widened it doors soom I am greatful to have seen the return of Seawolf JCL and others but less so to see KC, Roger that and others go away and most of the archives really It's a work in progress for sure I will defer non baseball sports to where they belong but just wanted to make a point LGM!!
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 4 Posted June 4 The archives, I'm told, are still a work in progress.
duan Old-Timey Member Posted June 5 Posted June 5 it has been mentioned on the broadcast and maybe elsewhere - but the horrendous number of west coast trips this early in the season must be some kind of record - the fact that they're finished them by the 7th of June has to be very unusual ! Season Last West Coast road trip ended 2023 Aug. 6 2024 Sept. 1 2025 July 27
duan Old-Timey Member Posted June 5 Posted June 5 that was a fun game - I was only watching on the phone so didn't get a great chance to see what I thought of Safeco Field, but definitely enjoyed Dante Bichette coming to the party.
