The network guys didn't mention this but Gary would have been all over it: Rodon winds up giving up one run on his own Wild Pitch and then a second on his own error. First run counts as earned, second is not.

Vientos, Baty and Alvarez should've all been traded in the offseason. Mauricio, too, but after he got hurt people stopped pinning as many hopes on him. Actually, he kind of became more of a forgotten entity after he got hurt.

I have more confidence in Semien putting it all together, as he has a history of great success, than Vientos et al, who folks keep putting faith into despite the fact that they're all 5 years into their Mets careers with almost nothing truly impressive to show for it.
