Last night, as always, Mike "King Cougar" was sitting behind us, leading the "Heeeeeeeeee struck! him! out!" cheer. This has been every time we go for years and I got curious about him, found out we had a mutual friend, then ran into him in my neighborhood (lives on the other side of town but its where he catches the bus to the Mets games).

He scores all the games he goes to and counts them, amazinly, reaching 10,000 games over the weekend (last night was 10,002). He did this by working overnight shifts so as to attend day and night games, going to Yankee games when there's no Mets game and making several road trips a year. I even saw him at a Knicks-Nets game, I think he does football & hockey too.

Needless to say, Mike has never been married.
