seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted Thursday at 08:04 PM Posted Thursday at 08:04 PM I just want someone with a pulse. Some energy. Give me a guy who's going to put his ass in the jackpot, for chrissakes. Something goes wrong on this team and we get a camera cut to Mendy going ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ every time.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted Thursday at 08:07 PM Author Posted Thursday at 08:07 PM That's another thing about Mendoza — why is he always rendered in 6-bit text graphics?

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted Friday at 02:01 AM Author Posted Friday at 02:01 AM See, if you all joined with me by invoking managerial randos, this all could have happened earlier. Cito Gaston is still alive, right?

For what it's worth, Andy Green is more than working in front office. He's the farm director. And that is a sweet gig, probably one with more life expectancy than a manager of a collapsing squad, and also one he has demonstrably succeeded at to date. So I imagine he won't take the MLB manager spot without either a multi-year contract, or some guarantee that, if he becomes interim manager, the FD job is still his when his skippering stint is up.
