Any other love for Willets Point Mets?

Iron Triangle Mets? Unisphere Mets? LaGuardia Mets?

 

I do like Willets Point Mets , perhaps a poll ?

Okay, I worked up a few more versions in Illustrator. I leaned away from the green to show what it looks like in Mets colors. I think we can establish the theme without taking it too literally with the green. Also, I found a really cool port authority sign for the GCP that I added as a design.

Oh yeah, I based that one off the subway sign for grand central, the tile sign we've all seen before.

Hate to break this to you but Willets Point would be a good theme too. Though until our former poster by the same name explained it to me, I had no idea what it was. I thought it was a bird sanctuary.

Yeah, we can absolutely do a poll, I just wanted to gauge reactions to the options before going that route.

I think "Grand Central" is a lot more dynamic than "Willets Point".

By the way, we need two logos, so if we go with #3 as the primary logo, #5 will likely be the icon logo, which we also need for secondary uses.

As the poster who first proposed Willets Point, I still like it best.

And not for nothing but Mets Grand Central feels/sounds better than Grand Central Mets to my ears.

Everything will carry over! We're even working on restoring as much of the archives as we can, though how successful we'll be in that is still up in the air.
