MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Carson, last year's #1 draft pick, is the first position player I've adopted in over five years. (Andres Regnault)He looks like a keeper. He is currently batting over .350 after being promoted to Binghamton and hit his sixth home run tonight in 21 games.Earlier this year, he hit .302 with 4 homers in 50 games at Brooklyn. He plays center field, bats left, and is 18-3 in SB this year. He walked more than he struck out at each level.Hope to see you in the bigs real soon. Carson.Later
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2025 Author Posted August 2, 2025 Just read that Carson has had at least one hit in every game since July 10.Later
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2025 Posted August 4, 2025 Some real buzz that this guy might be the real deal.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2025 Posted October 4, 2025 Benge ain't no dog in the low- and mid-minors, though his trial at Triple-A was underwhelming. He hit .302/.417/.480 in 225 at-bats with Brooklyn, .317/.407/.571 in 126 at-bats with Binghamton...and just .178/.272/.311 with Syracuse. Still, struggling at Triple-A doesn't mean everything. Drew Gilbert hit .238 at Triple-A and is now a .190 major leaguer.
