Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted Sunday at 11:51 PM Posted Sunday at 11:51 PM Mets trying to see if they suck in all countries or just their own. Blue Jays, meanwhile, are just happy to see a team from somewhere other than Texas as they're currently riding a six-game losing streak [Astros x 2, Rangers x 4] all of it at home. All of which means that the team which was a play or two away from a WS championship on multiple occasions last October is now sitting in 3rd place in the AL East at 39 - 45 Game one: Monday 7:07 PM (I think that's 7:10 but altered by the exchange rate). Sean Manaea vs Trey Yesavage Yesavage, the big 22 y/o hard-throwing righty who made a splash during last year's post-season. He pitched six games last October, starting five, despite not making his ML debut until mid-September. He's pitching reasonably well this year with a 3.56 ERA in 11 starts. He's stingy with hits [6.1/9] and keeps the ball in the park [0.9 HR/9] but will walk more than his share [4.5/9] and his K-rate is down a chunk from last year [8.6/9 from 10.3 last year]
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted yesterday at 12:15 AM Posted yesterday at 12:15 AM You beat me to it Yes, he is a savage 7:07 start, like the airplane not the exchange rate

They measure their gas in liters, measure home runs in meters and temperature in Celsius. When they announce the attendance, I wonder if that will be in American numbers. If the Mets gat some wins in this series, will they be allowed to bring them back into the States without paying tariff? L:ater ,
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted yesterday at 09:50 PM Posted yesterday at 09:50 PM Sorry to delay the posting of the lineup, but Toronto players have long names. ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Oh that's friggin horrible Little League inside the park homer Soto looked silly, Benge also Mets baseball 2026
The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Well, it didn't take long for the Keystone Mets defensive deficiencies to show up. Totally unacceptable.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago Benge leading off the 1st with a K is the only out so far that WASN'T w/a RiSP. It's tough to be 0-for-5 w/RiSP after just two innings but this team managed to do so quite easily. FO - FO // FO - PO - FO
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I didn't think Myles Straw could be doubled up.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago Alas, Myles Straw, NOT from Wichita.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Who among us hasn't gotten a pitch-com earpiece jammed in our ear canals?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Ernie Clement is from Rochester, which is a pretty Canadian place. Except, of course, it's colder.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago I'd certainly bet on it being snowier than Toronto sitting there on the south side of the lake.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago It is. Apart from the break for ear surgery, this game is moving along quickly.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Booth says Soto has been a solid leftfielder
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Rochester is 80 miles south of Niagara Falls. My uncle went to RPI. Great hockey teams
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago This is a game of hard rips by both teams finding outfielders' gloves.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Well, in fairness, Soto has caught a few rips too. Springer's challenge has to be one of the worst cases I've seen appealed yet.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago This is a good hook. Manaea shlubbed that last pitch in there.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago Two outs/nobody on, then an error followed by two walks.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago That said, Warren ain't my first choice. We may need to convene a commission to examine Green's selection, but I'm not sure what we should call it.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Cool to see Eric Langill going into a crouch to warm up a reliever in the bullpen, and then look up and catch Lindor's homer, while scarcely moving.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Under my hit-by-pitch reform rules, AJ Ewing would get two bases there for being hit by ball four.

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago They pulled Yesavage because Baty is coming up. That's humourous
Nick Morabito Syracuse Mets - AAA CF On Tuesday, Morabito went 2-for-4 with a walk. He also stole his 23rd and 24th bases. Explore Nick Morabito News >
