Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 The Detroit Skubals* [7-2/3, 1 R, 3 H, 3 BB, 14 K] scored one in the 1st and one in the 7th to beat the Guardians 2-1 earlier today.Just nine total hits in the game, eight of them singles.Cleveland was 'DFL' (as some like to put it) in the AL in runs scored this year -- and actually scored fewer than they gave up (-6) -- so they, like that other playoff team from Ohio, will need to win games with scores like this in order to advance in the post-season.* whenever I type his name my auto-correct changes it to 'Skulls'
