Senga hasn't been much since his 6/6 start against the Rockies throwing 109 pitches



Great spot for him to get the Mets through the sixth though

They have been using it for a while.



During the recent dry streak, they have been kind of shying away from doing the posed shot after a homer if they are down by a lot or — in Soto's case — they had been getting no-hit for 13 innings.

You knew as soon as Senga dropped that ball that the runner was going to score.

You didn't necessarily know it was going to be on the very next pitch ... but you knew it was coming in one form or another.

Senga had a shutout going with a low pitch count (53) thru four innings ... and then he doesn't even come close to getting thru the 5th.

I like the way Soto turns around after getting a whiff.



They also just played Diaz' entrance music as Contreras' walkup music. Mark my words: there are high-level discussions at MLB about giving players exclusive rights to their tune.
