Another unknown lefty (though, supposedly, the Giants top pitching prospect), but it is probably not targeted for a reliever relay, but the unintimidated Mets still stack their lineup with lefthanded hitters.

Keep the karma!



Stearns is relying on just about all of our starters to remain healthy



Just as an example Merrill Kelly was not a terribly expensive get



Senga does not look right to me

Once the count went to 1-2 on Pete, I was expected the "churve". I was just hoping it would be in the dirt, so Pete would get another fastball. Be careful what you wish for as the churve was in the dirt and Pete flailed at it for the 3rd strike.

Giants-fan young woman catches Dom Smitty foul ball. Is excited beyond belief, goes to pose for a selfy with her father and the ball, and a Mets fan offers to take the shot for them.

Sadly, Smitty knocks in a few RBIs, and Schmitty two more on a homer.

I go back to Friday night. Bringing in Stanek cost us that game.



Hopefully after today he never sees a high leverage situation again.

It's still early but not addressing the offense or the starting pitching seems like a real missed opportunity. Particularly given that the Diamondbacks didn't actually get that much for either Suarez or Kelly.
