Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 Yeah, well Frankie 'I got lit up by the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp' Montas is pitching tonight, so it might not pass just yet.

Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 Time to dispose of Blackbum. He was a bad pitcher when the Mets got him, he was a bad pitcher for the Mets last year and he's still a bad pitcher this year. The guy has a 4.92 career ERA, 82 ERA+ and 1.419 WHIP. He's not worth giving start after start.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 Is it obvious? I'll have to admit that my attention has drifted over the last ten games, but with Senga and Megill hurt, isn't Blackburn fairly likely to be one of the five starters in the rotation? There's Peterson and Holmes and Canning, and now Montas. Who ranks above Blackburn for the fifth spot? Tidwell?
