Blackburn is the most non-competitive pitcher I've seen pitch for us in a while.



It surprised me we traded for him. It surprised me we tendered him a contract. And it depresses me he keeps pitching.

I was certainly not suggesting it was his only bad performance. I only meant to note that he grinded enough through the appearance, leaving the team fortunate to get out of there with three scored in 4 2/3 innings.



He will not be starting for a while, and probably has his continued existence on the staff in jeopardy.
