The way relievers pitchers are used, I'm surprised more of them don't have arm problems. It seems like some of them pitch every other day. Stretch out those starters, darn it!

Everybody is chasing velocity and going all out on every batter. High velocity and high strikeout numbers are valued over most any other metric, and while every organization laments the damage done, no organization seems to want to be the first to chance course.
