David Peterson has as good a claim to the title of Ace this season as any other pitcher on the team



He can take it a step further by shutting down the juggernaut that is the Arizona Diamondbacks



The Mets have suffered two potentially season defining losses; the walk off loss to the Padres and the Diaz meltdown last night



To make matters worse the Minnesota Twins are providing no help against the Atlanta Braves



There are two days left in August about 51 years after the mantra "Ya Gotta Believe" was born



I hope that somehow Tug McGraw can look down and sprinkle the Mets with "Believe" dust
