Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 I had to google "Todd from Breaking Bad" and I'm certain that I've seen every single BB episode at least half a dozen times. Boy did I love that show.I'm getting old.We just finished a start to end re-watch. Glad we did it, experiencing it week to week on cable TV wasn't ideal since we didn't see everything.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2024 Author Posted June 4, 2024 Peterson has thrown 42 pitches through 4.Herz has thrown 74 pitches through 4.I would have thought that with a name like Her(t)z he'd have electric stuff.Later
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 I just figured he'd be better than a guy named Avis.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Todd might have been the most depraved of all BB characters. Kid killer, cop-killer, slave keeper, nazi or nazi sympathizer. But he had a soft spot for Lydia

Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Yeah Walt was the worst. Just how bad he was was more difficult for me to pick up till this last rewatch

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 We may have to do a Jesse Plemons/Breaking Bad split.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Mark Vientos, Mets representative to the all star game.Stranger things have happened
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Good thing that none of these failed tack-on run situations have come back to bite us recently.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Couple of fortunate hits to lead off the 8th.Now we'll see how good they are at stranding them.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 We're running out of time for McNeedles to blow up this game off the bench. They need a lefty bat for an RBI here and ... they go to DJ Stewart. Booooo!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 PH'ing DJ Stewart for Nido [1st & 3rd / one out] cuz we all know a three run lead just doesn't cut it.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 And being a much better bet for a strikeout than McNeil, and a much better bet for a double-play, they nonetheless go to him, and he hits into an inning-ending double-play.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2024 Author Posted June 4, 2024 Gee, McNeil could have done that.Later

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 That Pete call on the pop up was so loud I heard it ... and not through my TV!!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 So, who do you see getting the ninth tonight?. Reid-Foley?I think I'm leaning that way, but Mendoza's thoughts are a mystery to me.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Looks like he's looking to go back to Reed Garrett.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Long HR from Pete to make it 6-2Our win pct just nudged over 55%
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 The opponent throwing up and in to Pete Alonso may be what we needed.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Garrett walking the leadoff hitter = NOT what I needed.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2024 Author Posted June 4, 2024 The next two batters are hitting .200 and .160. Based on what has been happening lately, that sounds dangerous.Later
