I'm Brandon Nimmo, and you can come with me if you feel like happiness is the tooth! Or something!

Last season, I gave up contact and on-basiness for power. It paid off ... or did it? Did i get so focused on upping my game in one department that I hurt it in another? How's that going to play out in 2024?

And, oh yeah — apparently, I'm not a centerfielder anymore. But happiness remains the tooth.

His batting average will be inversely proportional to his position in the lineup.

If they drop him down and they expect more power, that's what we'll get, at the expense of average.

No, they haven't.

I like captains. On my team, I'd do it like soccerfootball, and there would be a captain on the field at all times.

Same. I nominate Lindor as Captain and Nimmo and Pete as Vice Captains.

And for the guy in question, Nimmo has been very consistent the last couple years. Maybe a shift to left will let him be bat-first and have maybe his best year. I say .270/.370/.470 with 26 bombs, 105 runs scored and a career-high 8 triples.

2024 Team MVP. There will be an off-season push for #-retirement!

(no statue, let's not get ahead of ourselves)

he dependably hangs around his .270/.380/.447 career line, so let's go with that. Breaks 100 runs for the second time in his career.
