Edgy MD Site Manager Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 2a is clearly George Theodore. I'm chewing a little bit on 2b, but I'll take a half a point where I can get it. I want to get into the Showcase Showdown round.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 4. I remember that streak because I was at few of those games. I wanna say 2003.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted February 7, 2024 Author Posted February 7, 2024 Theodore is correct. I'd be Lyon if I said I didn't think you were close on the other one. As for the losing streak question, 2003 is reallllllllllly, realllllllllly close. You might remember Al Leiter leading the team with 13 wins that year. You might also recall they tried out guys like D'Amico, Estes and Thomson that year, but none of them stuck.
