Strange night for Quintana. The defense bailed him out when he got hit hard, but failed him when he got the ball he needed.



McNeil saved about five runs with his glove. It didn't help his hitting that Eddings had a three-foot strike zone, but he's having such a time figuring out what to do with that slider inside. Every time he seems close, they pitch him away to set him up, reset him, and then ride him in all over again.



Anyhow, time to make Washington pay.
