All I want is a team that takes pitches. We know the team can afford highly sought-after personnel, but the real edge we need is philosophical.



The Mets had a good grip on the game after Nimmo's 10-pitch leadoff walk. If they stayed on that path, they would have chased Morton by the end of the third. It's not like he really found the plate until the fourth.
