Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 If they overturn this call on the slide and hand raise by Luis after the non-call last night I think Buck may spontaneously combust. And, btw, why is this one reviewable while last night's wasn't????

The Reds lose their challenge and so the call at first will not be reviewed."
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 Anyway Verlander had economical and effective

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 I'd really like to extend the lead against this pen.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 As good as Verlander has been this could be decided by the Mets bullpen and the Reds one for that matter
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 A NYM starter in the 7th!!!Lately, getting them to the 4th has been a struggle.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 Well, that was great from Verlander... As Ashie notes let's see what the pen does , I'm feeling optimistic though
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 104 pitches thru 7.Exactly where it should be in a well pitched game.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 Actually, I guess that should be Jonathan Guardia now. OH!
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 The Meet the Mets theme music sounds great tonight
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 Be nice to some RS that I need two hands to tally and not have most of them coming via solo HRs, but I'll take it especially since we saw better ABs tonight (against better pitching too) and could have scored more with just a little bit of better luck.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 Shouldn't be so hard to beat the freakin Reds but I'll take it. Verlander earned some of that big-time money tonight.
