bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Mets @ SFG, 7:10 PM, ESPN (UGH).Tylor Megill (RHP) v. Ross Stripling (RHP). https://www.mlb.com/gameday/mets-vs-giants/2023/04/23/718455/previewhttps://www.mlb.com/gameday/mets-vs-giants/2023/04/23/718455/previewThis is the 10th game of the Mets' 10-game trip to the West Coast... and the Mets can't check out any time they like because ESPN claimed the game so the Mets have to stay for another 3 hours. After yesterday's bomb, it would be nice to end the trip with a win and go 8 and 2.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 I imagine someone gets suddenly hurt so they can bring back Butto. Dominic Hamel also seems to me a dark horse worth a look. The John Curtiss demotion didn't seem to be a very intuitive move, and I'm curious if they may be stretching him out to reintroduce him as a starter.

They think it could develop into a very effective out pitch but needs more refinement.Later
