The John Curtiss demotion didn't seem to be a very intuitive move, and I'm curious if they may be stretching him out to reintroduce him as a starter.

When he was optioned, I read that they optioned Curtiss to work on the changeup he recently learned. They think it could develop into a very effective out pitch but needs more refinement.
