Diaz would be some other team's heartbreak right now. No Lindor. But probably Gimenez. No Nimmo. They woulda probably traded deGrom knowing there was no way they were gonna re-sign him. Wonder what they would've gotten for a break-the-Nintendo cheat code pitcher who's hurt more often than not? Something. Maybe they even put Alonso on the market? No old-timer's games. No scoreboard improvement. Maybe even more scoreboard ads and even less scoreboard.
