I didn't like that send. The RF in this stadium is already playing deep 2B before charging the hit. Then throw in Lindor coming up.

Also don't Ike the head first slide

That's one back, anyhow.

Baty was sort of hung out to dry, but I've seen better slides by my uncle wiping out on the dancefloor at a wedding.

I understand that Jake's rest is important and I get that in the grand scheme of things the game against COL means the same as the game against NYY BUT it would have been nice to see Jake tonight.

Pete scores on that hit if he doesn't stumble/stop, but that's a total bonehead move by Gleyber Torres (who doesn't seem like a high-IQ player overall).

Kiner-Falefa had one job there — to be standing on second.

I dunno. He's the second cut-off and there was no reason to think there'd be a play at 2nd.

Torres seemed to lose track of where Pete was so went for the out at 2B

Lugo got Judge there and then got him again when the umpire missed it.

I know the TV booth (which I love) tries to be objective, but mentioning a

457 foot homerun a dozen times is a bit much. It was a home run. Yay.

Another less than genius move by Torres.

That's one of those, dumb even if you make it plays.

More pitches than you'd like to see from Lugo (not entirely his fault) particularly if he's looking to go another inning here.

If there's a second cutoff, it's the firstbaseman's job. If he's positioned there by design, that's a waste of a player.

1B is the cut off going home.

You could see by the overhead shot they showed, IKF (as his friends call him) was at 2nd until he realized there was not

going to be a play there at which point he moved to back Torres.

Not sure why Baty didn't tag. If that ball is gone, he walks home. If it drops, it's little more than a trot home.

Having Gelbs give both the pre-game odds and the updated in-game odds should be beneath SNY.

Apparently it isn't.

All the more reason MLB needs regulatory oversight.

Notice how Gary used to do the odds but sounded like he was being made to eat his vegetables? He doesn't do the odds anymore; I wonder if he said he didn't want to do it.
