So if the Phils are challenging BOTH the calls at 2nd and at 1st, shouldn't the non-reversal at 2nd be their one challenge therefore negating their challenge at 1st?

It should have been a single. Unbelievable to not give an error to Canha there.

I don't think Canha half-assed so much as he got a bounce he wasn't expecting. But, yeah, it should have been a one or two base error.

Agreed about the unexpected bounce but if he was behind the ball instead of reaching for it the bounce wouldn't have mattered.

I think I'd use Vogelbach for Baty. There's still Naquin for McCann if it gets there.
