Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Next time Nimmo whacks one to the fence in right, he needs to blow in the direction of the ball as he runs to first.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Lonely-assed thread as the Mets lead 1-0 at the end of the first period.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Not much activity to discuss.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Thanks for stopping by.Hoskins, now twice, is the only guy to solve Bassitt.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Bassitt into and out of trouble. Things remain squeaky tight.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Hi Lonesome Edgy. Been doing chores while listening to the game.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 HI!!! Sweet to tack on with two outs.Too bad the cameras missed the play at the plate.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Can Luis too? Guillor-MAY!

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Two more runs, but one fewer infielder?
Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Howie singing the praises of Joey Cora, saying he's seen them since 1962, and Cora in the top 5.Curious who the other four would be.
Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Wayne added that if the team wins, it would be one win off the pace of the 1986 team - which won 108.Howie noted the ‘86 team was cruising by this point.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 I feel a little bit more loving toward Nido after seeing Realmuto fumble an in-between hop also.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Escobar replacing Guillorme. Booo.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 I heart everyone in a Mets uniform but I really heart McNeil.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Guillorme look like it's a hammy. Bassitt in trouble again.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Looks like we might have needed all those runs.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Edgy MD wrote:Escobar replacing Guillorme. Booo.Luis pulled up coming home, hope it's not a whammy to the hammybut kinda looked that way.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 I imagine that wasn't the most shakeoffs ever in one plate appearance, but it sure felt like it.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 If it takes twenty seconds for a pitcher to hear a catchers signs what's the goddam fucking point? Squat and put down your signs. NUTTY!!!!
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 I don't blame the opposition for getting pissed at Bassitt. He shakes off way too much. But he escapes again!
