Now that we've had two+ times through the rotation as it was meant to be in spring, we can build our mnemonic to remember the rotation and figure out who is pitching tomorrow without having to call Buck Showalter at crazy hours.

Starting with Max Scherzer, who started the team's first game after the All-Star break, the rotation seems to be looping around as Scherzer-deGrom-Bassitt-Carrasco-Walker, or SDBCW.

So, just remember, "Subtle Distinctions Bring Clean Work!"

Unless you've got something better.

I was actually recently thinking about how we could use a rotation mnemonic for this crew.

Good that someone beat me to it as my procrastination would likely have delayed it until the season was over.

IIRC, our first one was: Let's Treat Edgy At Dinner (and several variations of that)

A solid rotation were they, for half a season.

Melted down like Chernobyl in the second half, if I correctly recall.

No, he fell apart a few outings before that, but for some reason, Bobby Valentine kept starting him until he got over the finish line.
