Solace in getting shut out is you're never going to win on days you don't score. It's hard to get upset when the other team manages to push a run across in extras.

Lindor's swing on the 2-0 count might have lost the game. He probably thought "he doesn't want to walk me with Pete on deck" and he wanted to be the hero so he swung on a low pitch that even the ump would have called a ball.

Yup. I suspect he sold out on the fastball but got a slider instead. That's a very different AB with a 3-0 count rather than 2-1

Braves win so 1.5 up. Looking shaky going into Atlanta.

So if they avoid getting swept, they have the lead going into the Cubs series?

I forgot about the Cubs series. In my mind, the series in Atlanta led right into the break.

Also, sucks to have a homestand last just four games.

My recollection is that under a past CBA, teams weren't supposed to be scheduled for one-team homestands, or one-city roadtrips (what they just had in Cincinnati). Perhaps that's gone by the wayside now.

We could make a mint off that tee-shirt.

It's all yours. If you turn a profit, you can throw me 10% or so after you make your first $100,000.
