So who PH's for Nido leading off the 9th?

Inciarte can run. Canha can lose one. Prolly not JDD or JMcC

Mets seem to go for homers instead of table setters these days, although it ain't really working out so much.

Also, Nido may be the weakest hitter on the team, but he's hit the ball hard all night.

I think I go for Canha, who can get a walk as well as a bomb, and Inciarte can run for him if he gets on.

Nah, "All-Star" Pete took a big cut at the first pitch instead of making a POS pitcher work. This after "All-Star" Lindor also swung at the first pitch. Maybe Strickland was shaken after giving up the double but we'll never know. What is Chilli Davis doing these days?

Paul Clemons appears to have a big date tonight.
He called those pitches like he had money on the game.

Scare quotes for a guy with a .903 OPS? We can be fair here.

Reds down to one guy on the bench.

Of course, it's Joey Votto.

And speaking of benches, the Mets just pinch-run for Alonso.

You're right but he hasn't looked like an All-Star lately, plus zero HR's in 9 games.
