Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Didn't help that the bats couldn't touch pitchers named Half Gallen and Mary Poppen.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Or course, I think 3-4-5 went like 0-12 today. Alonso killed a rally late.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Poop happens. Go get 'em tomorrow, Mets. This wasn't a case of poor situational hitting, it was a case of no hitting at all. Mama said there'd be days like this. But, break's over; they better pound them tomorrow because the Giants are going to be a tough test for this team. Buck could have pitched Megill tomorrow on regular rest due to the off day, but he's choosing to start him against Frisco. Peterson has a chance to make a name for himself here if he wants it.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 I like giving Peterson a Sunday start against these tomato cans and pushing Megill out to the SF opener with an extra day to prep.
