So they're celebrating the 60th anniversary this year instead of the 60th season last year. The opposite of what they did for the 25th. (I don't remember what they did for the 50th.)



The last 60 years tell us that the Mets finish the season in first place ten percent of the time.

They wore a 50th anniversary patch in 2012, commemorating their 50th year anniversary instead of their 50th season, which would have required a patch the year before, 2011.

Pretty horrific by any measure, but especially given the market the Mets play in. Thank eff 'n Jeff and their two first place finishes in like 30 years of running the team.

better percentage than Cohen. I don't know why you are always taking shots at Cohen. A couple stumbles out of the gate, but he seems to be getting it right since the bumpy start.

because he's a scumbag, still employs sexual harasser(s) and the people that hired him despite pretending to fix it. Because he basically punted 2021 for 'value', meddles too much, and let some of my favorite players leaves despite the team desperately needing them.

I read on the eve of the season they didn't plan to wear it, just use it for promotions. Seems like a missed opportunity.
