Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted November 19, 2021 Posted November 19, 2021 Single game tixx went on sale this morning.Tuesday Night Mets Club just went and bought up 24 of them to see the Giants, Braves, Cardinals, Nationals, Brewers, Astros, MFYs, Reds, Rockies, Dodgers, Cubs and Marlins.... all on Tuesday, in various locales around the ballyard.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted November 19, 2021 Posted November 19, 2021 Just wondering, is there a Tuesday plan but you chose to go a la carte to avoid conflicts and bad games and also to move around the place?

Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted November 19, 2021 Author Posted November 19, 2021 Yeah we just buy a la carte because Tuesdays are generally good days for us to go and makes it easier for the families etc. I don't think there's a specific Tuesday Plan although there should be. There used to be Tuesday-Friday, and there's a separate Weekday Plan.Tuesday Nights are good for "real fans" IMO-- not many amateurs out there on Tuesdays, and the commute is easy
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted November 19, 2021 Posted November 19, 2021 There's no reason to ever buy season tickets(MEMBERSHIPS!) unless you really love sitting in exactly the same spot and seeing the same faces around you. Though I guess maybe there's some resale benefit these days, I dunno, I keep dodging the sales guy's calls you wants me to come down there and talk.I don't know what 2022 brings, and I'm currently pretty frustrated with the Mes as a whole ,but Tuesday's have always been one of my favorite days to go solo.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted November 19, 2021 Posted November 19, 2021 But you're first in line for playoff tickets!
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted November 19, 2021 Posted November 19, 2021 Will actually be in the LA area when the Mets play the Angels in June. It'll be tempting to go to the Big A.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted November 19, 2021 Author Posted November 19, 2021 We are also planning to visit Phoenix in April to see at least 1 game of the series in Whatever It's Called Stadium
